Cabrillo offers the easiness for students to access their needs in campus by using WebAdvisor. Checking their grades, checking their schedules, doing payment, asking financial aid, registering classes and many others can be done through WebAdvsior whenever and wherever they are as long as there is internet connection.
For students, faculty and also staff, they need to log in by clicking the Log In tab in the upper right to enter WebAdvsior, Cabrillo’s online information system. When you log in, you will be required to enter your College ID and password. If this is your first time using WebAdvisor, you may be a little bit confused how to log in. In the College ID field, you have to enter your College ID. You have to note that College ID is not similar with the Username that you used for Cabrillo’s Online Application. Then, for your password, your initial password is your birth date in mmddyy format. After you enter your College ID and password, do not forget to hit the Submit button. When you try to log in, it is not impossible that you can face some issues. If WebAdvisor locked you out of your account after too many failed log-ins, do not be panic. You just need to do is to simply wait 15 minutes and then try again. In case you are not sure about your password, you can use I Forgot My Password link that you can find on the Log-In page to either view your password hint or ask a temporary password. Then, WebAdvisor will send the temporary password to the email address on file for you. Have you ever experienced a situation where the password that you used to apply online does not work now that you are trying to register for classes? If this happens to you, it means that the system that you used to apply online, OpenCCC, is run by the Chancellor’s Office. Whereas, WebAdvisor which the system is used by you to register for classes, is run by Cabrillo College. You have to note that your passwords on each system are different.
You probably want WebAdvisor to send you a temporary password, but the email address that they have for you is wrong. If this happens, you have to get it correct. To do that, you can complete a Change of Information Form and then turn it in to Admissions and Record. Before they can make any changes, they need your physical signature and either your Cabrillo ID of your Social Security Number. Unfortunately, they are not able to correct your records by phone, so mail, fax or bring this form in. Another problem that you might face is, not receiving an email that you suppose to receive with your temporary WebAdvisor password and you do not know where it is. If this happens, you have to check the spam folder in your email. If you cannot find it, you can try to call Admissions & Records at (831) 479-6100 to make sure your email address is right in their system.
