Through WebAdvisor students can check and print their transcript, check their schedule, check their financial information including financial aid, review their profile and many other benefits. To be able to access the WebAdvisor online, you have to know your login and password.
Your WebAdvisor username is your firstname.lastname. If then you find that your name is similar to someone else, the system will automatically add a set of random digits to the end of your name. So, the username of your WebAdvisor will be firstname.lastname plus a few numeric digits. If this is your very first time login to your WebAdvisor, your password is your birth date and it is in six-digit format (MMDDYY). After you log in for the first time, you have to change your WebAdvisor password. When you create new password, you have to note several things. First, it must consist of 6 to 9 characters in length and second, it must contain both letters and at least one number. Most students face login issues and it happens because of the fact that they have simply forgotten their password. So, you have to make sure that you pick the one that you will remember and to write it down in a safe place somewhere just in case you forget. Then, what should we do if we forget our password? If you forget your password and you did not write it, you have to reset it. To reset your password, follow the steps below.
- First, you have to go to the WebAdvisor homepage at http://wa.gcccd.edu
- After that, click on the What’s My Password link that you can find in the bottom right hand corner.
- Select to Reset My Password on the next screen.
- Now, you will see some fields that you have to fill in. Enter your last name and your Social Security Number or your Student ID Number.
- The next screen will ask you to choose your email address. It will be the email which your temporary password will be mailed to.
- At last, in a new window, open your email inbox and search for an email from ‘email@example.com‘.
