Some people probably do not know the function of WebAdvisor for students. It is very helpful and useful for them. On WebAdvisor, students can:

- Ask official transcript
- Check their academic standing

If you are students of Tarrant County College (TCC) and you are new in using WebAdvisor, you surely need guide to use that especially when you forget your password. Some people do not know what to do when they forget their password. If you are also the same with them, then from now on you do not need to be confused again because we are going to tell you how to reset your password in TCC WebAdvisor.
Before we talk about resetting password, it is important for you to know the first time user password. When you use WebAdvsior for the first time, you have to know that the default password is the last six digits of your social security number. If then, you want to log in to your WebAdvisor again and you have changed your password but you do not remember that, you are able to use your password hint to help you. How to do that? Follow the instructions below.
- First, you have to choose Log In which can be found in the top right-hand corner.
- After that, click on the Password Reset and Help button.
- Then, click on “What’s my Password Hint?”.
- In this step, you have to enter your user name.
- At last, click on Submit button.
If you have done that but your password hint does not help, you can go back to the Password Help menu. Then, you can change your password by clicking on Change Password (I do not know my password). After that, enter your user name and then hit Submit button. If security questions have been set up, you are able to answer the questions and then set up a new password and also password hint. However, if your password security questions have not been set up or you are not able to remember the answer to your security questions, it means that you need to call 817-515-TCCD (8324) to ask a password reset.
You may be still confused about password security questions. This is an added level of security and it will let you to set up three questions and answers. You will be able to set these up when your initial login. These will be updated at any time on WebAdvisor if you know your username and password. To be able to update your password security questions, you have to log in first. Then, click on the Password Reset and Help button. After that, click on I want to change my security questions. Then, log in to WebAdvisor. Now, select your security questions and type your answers. At last, click on Submit button.
