RCC or Riverside City College is a college which is the most dynamic in the Inland Empire. This college was opened in 1916 on the site of the former Poly High School, Riverside City College. Now, it has grown to be one of California’s leading community colleges. Also, it is a landmark in downtown Riverside. This community college serve more than 19,000 students each semester and provides students with a d lot of choices including transfer to a four-year college or university, associate’s degree programs, and career certificates which prepare them enter the workforce. Riverside City College has a featured programs in science, liberal arts, the School of Nursing and athletics, and performing arts.
Riverside City College uses Webadvisor to make students and staff easy to access whatever related to campus. What can Webadvisor do? It offers registration and payment, student registration date, grades, transcript requests, financial aid information, enrollment verifications, and personal profile update. Webadvisor is available everyday except from 3am to 4am every morning and from 5 pm Sunday evening to 4 am Monday morning each week. Either students or faculty, you need to log in for using Webadvisor. When you use Webadvisor, you will need your RCC email account. For example, when you forget your password, then you will have to reset your password by clicking the Reset My Password and then the new password will be sent to your RCCD email account. So, make sure that you do not forget your RCCD email account. If you forget your RCCD email account accidentally, then you have to click on Learn Your RCCD Email Address link which you can find in the left side of the Webadvisor page. Then, in a page entitled What’s my RCCD Email Address?, you will have to choose whether you are Faculty or Students by ticking on one choice. Then, enter your last name and SSN or RCC ID Number. Do not forget to click Submit button after that.
This students email address is used as the login to MyPortal. MyPortal is the online service of RRCD which permits students to see their registration date, access their student email, register for classes, drop classes, pay fees, order parking permits, see their financial aid status and many others. All students of RCCD have a right to create students email account which is free via Microsoft’s Office 365 for Education. By checking this email daily, you can get important notices about financial aid, schedule changes, waitlist statuses, and more.
If you want to access your email on Office 365, first you have to open web browser and go to https://www.outlook.com/student.rcc.edu. Then, in the username field, enter your RCCD Student email address. Also, enter your password in the password field. If this is your first time logging in, you will need to change your password. If you have changed your password, you will be brought back to the login page. Now, you have to login and choose your Language and Time Zone settings one time. Congratulations! Now, you are on Outlook Web app and can access your email.
